Use calendar booking, email summaries and the call dashboard

Your receptionist can book appointments into Google Calendar and send call alerts by email and app push. The dashboard holds calls, transcripts, recordings, usage and the settings you control.

  • Calendar bookingPut appointments into Google Calendar or choose callback intake instead.

The available workflow starts with a call: your receptionist asks the intake questions you set, then records the outcome in the call details. You receive an email and app push alert, with a daily digest email for another view of the day's calls.

For appointment requests, choose Google Calendar booking or have the receptionist take details for your callback. Booking an appointment does not create a field-service job or CRM record. You can inspect the conversation and its result in the interactive call demo before deciding how these outputs fit your team's routine.

Check the status of your CRM and job software

Direct connections to CRM, field-service and practice-management software are not available at launch. You can enter call summaries into the system you use and tell us which connection matters to you.

  • CRM recordsYour team enters caller details into its own customer records.
  • Field-service jobsStaff review the intake and create work in their dispatch software.
  • Practice managementDirect connections are not live; tell us which non-healthcare workflow you need.

If your work starts in a CRM, a call summary gives you information to enter into the right record. If your team uses job or dispatch software, someone still needs to review the request and create the job there. The same manual approach applies to non-healthcare practice-management tools.

Google Calendar booking is the named calendar feature available now. Direct business-software connections are planned according to demand. Tell us the product you use and the step you want to remove through our contact options. A request helps describe demand; it does not establish a release date.

Move call details into your existing workflow

Assign someone to review each summary, check details in the transcript and enter the needed information into your software. Treat the call alert as the start of your team's follow-through.

  1. 1Read the summaryIdentify the caller's request and the urgency tag before taking action.
  2. 2Check the detailConsult the transcript or recording when an address or instruction needs clarification.
  3. 3Finish the entryAdd the information to your system and assign the next task.

A cleaning request might need a service address, property size and preferred callback time. Your receptionist can ask your intake questions, then your team can review the summary before entering those details into a customer record. Use the transcript or recording to check information that needs more context.

Decide who owns this step during onboarding. An urgent warm transfer can bring your on-call person into the conversation, while a routine request can wait for your team's callback process. Compare the information you need in your software with the intake you actually receive, then adjust your questions in plain words.

Tell us which software connection you need first

We plan direct connections according to demand. Tell us your software name and the action you want after a call so your request describes a useful workflow, not just a product name.

  • Name your systemTell us which software holds your customers, jobs or practice records.
  • Describe the taskExplain what you currently enter by hand after a call.
  • Explain the handoffSay who checks the details and what should happen next.

Useful requests describe the work between a call and the next action. For example, explain whether you need a new lead record, a message added to an existing customer or job details ready for staff review. Include the software name so we understand where that work happens.

We use demand to guide planned connections. Choose RingCorgi based on the features available today and the manual steps your team can support. Send a request through the support contact page, then use the current product walkthrough to assess the workflow you can use now.

Questions

Can the receptionist book appointments in Google Calendar?

Yes. Google Calendar booking is available at launch. You can choose that option or ask the receptionist to take appointment details for your callback instead. Set your business information during onboarding, then make a test call to check the booking approach before forwarding your business number.

Does RingCorgi enter calls into my CRM automatically?

Direct CRM connections are not live. Your team can use the call summary, transcript and recording to enter details into its CRM. If that manual step would prevent you from using the service, assess that limit before starting and tell us which connection your workflow needs.

How do I get messages without a software connection?

An alert arrives by email and app push for each call, with a summary, urgency tag, transcript and recording. You also receive a daily digest email. Use the dashboard to review call information and decide what your team should enter into its own records or act on next.

Can I keep my current business number?

Yes. You forward your existing number to RingCorgi using the guide for your carrier or phone system. Choose all calls or only busy, unanswered or after-hours calls. Number forwarding handles where the call goes; your team still enters details into business software when needed.

Can I request a connection to the software I use?

Yes. Tell us the software name and what you want to happen after a call. Explain which details you currently enter and who checks them. Direct connections are planned by demand, so a specific workflow request gives us more useful information than a product name alone.
